An important part of one’s self is understanding your authentic personality. Over the past few years, I have taken the Myers-Briggs Personality test multiple times and have gotten the same result every time- INFJ.
After reading through all of the characteristics of this personality type, I felt they all described me perfectly and reading more about it has helped me understand myself on a deeper level.
INFJ stands for: introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. It is one of the 16 personality types, shown above, identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. This identified me as quiet, creative, gentle, and caring. A lot of my life, I have been embarrassed by being “shy” and have tried to change my personality. Knowing this is just a true part of my personality has helped me to realize that it is an advantage because it is my genuine self.
Once you take the personality test, it breaks down all of the aspects for you, gives you tips, and even potential career paths that you would thrive in. It was a very enlightening experience, and I highly recommend taking the test. I now even know what types I am, and am not, capable with, which can help in any personal or professional relationships I may come across.
Let me know in the comments what you think about this test, and if you were surprised by any of the results!
