What I (Really) Eat In A Day

I wanted to make this post because I feel like there are so many “What I Eat In A Day” videos and posts out there that no more harm than good. Many people promote an unhealthy lifestyle by showing too little food or having unhealthy mindsets on what they can/cannot eat.

I wanted to show you everything that I ate on this particular day- I am someone who believes that you should be eating every food group, and there is no such thing as a “bad” food. I eat carbs and dessert every day! It’s truly all about balance.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

I love eggs! For breakfast, I had two scrambled eggs with spinach, onions, peppers, and a handful of cheddar cheese. I put this on top of sourdough toast. Every morning, I make myself a latte with oat milk- I added caramel macchiato creamer for sweetness and flavor.

For lunch, I had a turkey, ham, and swiss sandwich with mayo on sesame bread. This week, I made myself roasted brussels sprouts to eat as a side at lunch time. As always, a La Croix accompanied my meal. I chose the LimonCello flavor- this might be my new favorite!

I always get hungry around 3 pm and like to make myself a snack. This changes depending on my mood. On this day, I had some Fage TruBlend strawberry yogurt with some Kashi Crunch cereal. I use this cereal like granola, and it’s a great addition to yogurt.

For dinner, I made myself a quesadilla. I am a big Mexican food fan, so this is a go-to for a quick, easy meal. I added cheese, salsa, and spinach. I also had a side of chips and salsa because the meal would not be complete with this!

For dessert, I had leftover (homemade) Key Lime pie from a weekend celebration. I added whipped cream on top. It was delicious!
